Account Profile Administration

You must log into your account before you can change these settings.

User Profile Settings

Click on the User Profile tab.

URL: If you made an error, or want to change the site your are tracking, you can change the URL. 

E-mail:  you can change your address where you will to recieve statistics reports or futher communications from EZ Webasts. Delete this field if you do not want and messages from us.

User Language:  several localizations are available, but if you choose anything other than english, our staff may not be able to help if you need support.

Timeout:  this determines the difference between a unique and new visitor from the same host. If your users have long periods of inactivity, adjust this to a larger setting.

Online Timeout:  this controls counting of users currently online. Setting it to a larger number will identify a visitor as online for a longer period resulting in a higher reporting of users currently online. If your users have long periods of inactivity, adjust this to a larger setting. Actual duration of individual visits is available on the statistics page.

E-mail Notification:  enables you to recieve a message that this number of uniquie visitors have been to your site. Be sure to set it high enough or it will get pretty annyoying. Set it to zero to disable e-mail reporting.

Default number of logs to show:  This controls the length of the Logs tab.

Keyword list mode:  this is the keywords entered in a search engine that resulted in a click to your site. it will show up whether the user clicked on the search results or an advertisement (AdWords or Overture) on a search engine. Most users search with multiple keywords, so set this to whole strings.

Allow demo mode: if you want others to see your statistics, check this box and they can see the stats, but not make any changes to the settings. Useful if you are selling advertising on your site.

Your time zone: normally, this you be your time zone (duh!). If your visitors are in another time zone and you want the statistics to show dates/times there, enter the visitor time zone.

Visible:  this is one of two places that controls the visibility of your tracking code. This only affects the visibility of ezwebstat.js. The other control on visibiity is in the HTML code calling ezwebstat.js. The other control on visibility is explained in the HTML code settings.

Font size, font color, background color: these settings control the look of the counter you display on your site. They control the counter displayed using both ezwebstat.js and showhits.php. These settings are ignored if you do not display a counter on your site. Detailed instructions for the counter dispay.
